A town close to yours has been shelled a while ago. The Combine have settled there, with a small base. Such a small base doesn’t seem harmful, but you think something else is going on.
Led by curiosity, you make your way into the town…
This is my first map so any feedback is appreciated.
Many thanks to Strontvlieg, Lyren and Spoops for playtesting.
Starting in a small warehouse, you must use the large elevator to descend the lower levels.
Stopping at each one to extract any useful equipment and kill the soldiers.

Author’s Note: “Hard Hat Required is a Half-Life 2: Ep2 level focused on novel environmental hazards, extensive non-structural BSP use to make up for a lack of usable meshes, and re-use of space.
It was created over six weeks with no modified code allowed, and is my first level in the Hammer Editor.”

The long-awaited sequel to the original Eye Candy (which was only a Test Tube)! This one was a full-blown Map Labs challenge at last.
Mappers were charged with making a map featuring unique and beautiful visuals. That’s it, gameplay optional.

This is a nightmare and everywhere you look something is trying to kill you, even your supposed friends.
At one point is a leap of faith. Sometimes it’s better to have no faith.

Starting with no weapons and no idea where you should go, you need to stay alive long enough to figure what to do.
There is no story and no sense to any of the areas, but that’s that not the point of this mappack.
It’s to use your skill to reach the end.
Only the strong will survive, Spartans would love this challenge.
