A Scanner Darkly

for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

“The renegade Gordon Freeman is back, and as usual, being hunted by the merciless Combine within the ruins of City17. In this scenario, the Combine have almost perfected a field teleportation device, and mounted it to a modified Combine Scanner. Once the Scanner verifies the location of Gordon within City17, it teleports in a MetroCop to deal with the situation. This fast-paced action-oriented level focused on a new dynamic-flank combat setup to keep the player on the edge of their seat as Gordon tries to escape through the sewer system of City17.”

Moonwalker

for Half-Life

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

This is a mod that seems to have slipped under the radar and been more or less ignored. So far it seems a solid production and has surprised me, which is why I added the surprised face to the title image.

Instinct

for Half-Life

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

Author’s Notes: “Instinct is my first level for Half-Life, but don’t get me wrong; I didn’t just start mapping yesterday… It has been a long and hard road of learning and development with the gold source engine spanning 10 years to bring you this piece of work, and I hope you enjoy it. I’m sorry for it’s poor condition: the map is unfinished, however, it is 2007, so I really can’t be finishing it when Hammer 3.4 deletes my maps etc.”

Wizardly

for Half-Life 2

You find yourself in a brick maze. You have a crowbar but health, suit charge, the pistol, ammo and grenades can be “bought”.

You earn “gold” by killing enemies.

Metrocops and fast headcrabs are worth 4, zombies and normal headcrabs are worth 2.
