Power Outage

for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

Gordon Freeman must fight his way into the remote arctic prison, Angel Mogila. The level is a small area of roughly the same scope as a single area in a larger Half-Life 2 level. Consequently the module is a slice of what would be a larger level. This level features stealth gameplay using a custom designed night vision effect and custom AI controllers to enable stealth gameplay. The player can elect to rush the level at a higher margin of difficulty. Power Outage also features destroyable power transformers that knock out the lights in each section of the level.

Dark Interval: Part 1

for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

“Dark Interval is a mod project that aims at restoring certain parts of older drafts of Half-Life 2 – namely, various original locations, characters and plot points that didn’t make it to the retail version.

This mod is intended to provide a complete game experience; rather than restoring disparate bits and pieces, the team instead aims at building a complete and stylistically coherent world by drawing inspiration from many original concepts and drafts provided by Valve in their book Raising the Bar.

This naturally involves filling some blanks and discarding some failed or played out designs. Dark Interval doesn’t include original levels found in the “leaked” version of Half-Life 2, and instead features brand new maps which were built from the ground up – it was decided that this was the only way to make them both stand out and be actually modern and not just modernised fix-ups.”

Aerial Harassment

for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

“The city you’re currently in is under attack by Combine forces. They are controlled by a Sky Captain, a malicious being (possibly artificial intelligence) flying a helicopter and with a role in the Combine hierarchy similar of that of an Advisor.

However, the Sky Captain seeks direct confrontation with members of the resistance and can be very persistent and aggressive. Escape the city and try to avoid this Sky Captain.”

City Prison 5

for Half-Life 2

Not exactly a prison, but certainly some sort of Combine controlled area.

There are a few levels on the wall that will allow you to open doors and progress onto the next stage.

When you reach a dead end vent, that’s the end of the map.
