You seem to have been kidnapped and are being kept in a bunker, guarded by zombies.
As you affect your escape, you enter dream-like states, where reality and fantasy mix.
Keep a clear head and focus on your objective and you may just escape.

As with yesterday’s mod by the same author Stackdeath Complex, this release doesn’t attempt realism, in fact it goes in the opposite direction: dreams.
Don’t look for sensible locations, enemies or anything of that nature, this is just another set up for playing.
I enjoyed some aspects for this one; the glass floors that break after you kill certain enemies, the location of the turrets, but all in all it’s not as much fun as Stackdeath Complex.
The ending is annoying and you may encounter an error between map 2 and 3. If you see something like images 24 and 25, then move back into the room and you should get the proper level change.
I say MAYBE because there’s not much worth seeing or playing.

It’s a little buggier than Stackdeath Complex and the map transitions aren’t very smooth. Your config settings don’t get saved and are lost the next time you play the game. Play if you are bored but be prepared for some rough spots.

I tried playing the map before this and that was a big heap of lol-nope, but this one showed a lot of progress and some potential. That said, it was still broken as hell and the level transitions were basically so broken I am not honestly sure I played a) the whole thing, and b) in the actual order / direction they were meant to be played.
The individual maps were pretty neat, and the fights – if the AI hadn’t basically upchucked (I think this is partly due to the maps not spawning correctly and me going backwards through them, more than likely) were still pretty challenging.
Not entirely unplayable, and the ‘canyon’ fight was actually VERY fun.
Boy howdy that was a lot of vending machines in those hallways though!

Well this was pretty linear, and I have a glitch right before to start the Paranoia Dream map…. So I think it was unfinished and it was not.
Anyway the rest of the mod didn’t offer any amazing part so I say I just very average old HL1 action.
Also the last Gargantua non possible to win part seems to be like the very old “you can’t win” cliché.
So overall I guess this is a huge boxy mod with some interesting combat specially at the beginning but the last part it becomes very, very predictable and quite repetitive whether not to say boring at the last minutes of it.
It’s also a maybe? because who knows you may like this kind of boxy grunt-festy mods…

A kind of adventure… no story, no real cohesion in design (that is fair enough) with a good level of challenge regarding combat…I enjoyed the gameplay but got sometimes frustrated by traps and so on
