Zombie stress is a Half Life 2 Single Player modification, which instead of giving you some complicated story or long winded puzzles to over come gives you what you want… zombies!
Removing the need for stories to interest you, this small mod is designed to just allow you to relieve some stress by giving you 3 different styles of zombie destruction with many weapons.

The Maps
- Map 1: Plain Zombie Killing:
This map is designed to be the most fun and yet the most destrictive one. You start off in a room and your job is just to hack, blast, saw and shoot your way through the collective of about 80 zombies, 1 poison zombie, and 3 speed zombies.
Weapons: Crowbar, Gravity Gun, SMG, Rocket Launcher, Shot Gun, Cross Bow, AR2. - Map 2: Hunt A Zombie:
Work your way through a Combine training maze which has been infested with Zombies. With this map you will be able to utilize the combine turret to fight against the Zombie hords. This one is a bit darker then the last, but keep your gravity gun and shot gun close, you will be needing them.
Weapons: Crowbar, Gravity Gun, SMG, Rocket Launcher, Shot Gun, Cross Bow, AR2, Magnum. - Map 3: Escape From Zombie Land:
After escaping from the combine area, you find your way into a small closed off street which has had some Zombie intervention, work your way to the top of the building to open the doors to finally escape from zombie land.

Installation Instructions (Steam)
- Extract the Zombie Stress folder into your Sourcemods folder
- Restart or start Steam.
- Zombie Stress should now be listed in your Library tab.

I had soo much fun with this map. It’s very simple in design but makes up for it in gameplay. The endless waves of zombie killings is great but might not be for everyone.
There seemed to be an unlimited amount of ammo (respawns in the boxes) which makes it easier for some players. It would be nice to plan ammo usage with limited supply. Other than that, great few maps while it lasts

I’d really like to add a gameplay video of this. I’m looking for three short videos showing a little of the gameplay from each map. Don’t make the videos too long and certainly don’t show anything that may spil the mod for somebody. I’ll add some titles and post it on PP. Anybody interested?
Hmm I’ll play it and if I think its worthy of a vid I’ll send ya one of the complete thing and you can cut and chop as needed.
Great fun, but my pc lagged like hell when playing it, and thats with all the graphics settings turned down!
it was a bit sluggish to begin with. I beat the three levels, and then played the first again and it wasn’t nearly as sluggish (or maybe I just adapted to it)
anyhow, its a fun mod. Though I wouldn’t exactly call it a mod. its just a few maps with a bunch of zombies.
I wont even try to make a vid for this till I get a better vid card.The 9800 pro is way to sluggish

It’s a fun mod. The only problems are that it’s very short and a bit easy with that rocket launcher. There’s also a couple of small things, like the fact that you can kill the friendly combines but not the civilians.
every one sais its good where do I extract it when I extract it to source mods folder it dont pop up in steam! help please
I hate bash the zombies mods but
I love this mod it’s just brilliant and very addictive.
It will forever stay in my directory.
Ideal for when I’m feeling too lazy too figure out the combat in normal mods. Just a wee bit of thought helps in maps 2 & 3. In map 3 don’t forget to shut the doors or there’s trouble ahead!.

Recommendation was removed, you have to at least write a reaction or basic thoughts on the experience.
I had some trouble opening the doors on the second map, but over all it’s a pretty laid back map pack full of zombies. Not much to say. I got way more than enough ammo and the RPG mops the floor (I killed lots of zombies at once). Just wish there was more horror to the map pack besides tall flat walls.
