Author’s notes:
“A map with about (10 minutes for my tester, idk about you) of play. It is strongly based off of the map d1_town_05 from hl2. There is a g-man sighting at the beginning. Also, go behind the generator for grenades to blow up the sniper, if you go to the place with ammo straight in-front of the generator, the combine sniper will go away, ruining the fun of shooting the sniper out of the window. :(“

It starts okay but as the map goes on it becomes clear the author ran out of ideas. The transitions between areas is badly managed and controling the player is also a little obvious. I got stuck at the beginning and had to noclip out.
The enemies come at rather predictable times nd always in groups.
Since it’s been nearly 3 weeks since my last update and you might need a HL fix, this could be it, but don’t expect a real high!
the gameplay is in the way of combat is ok but for the rest 😕 nothing imaginative
I played this before posted here on PP, I must have got desperate and gone looking for mods to play while Phillip was busy with other stuff. Any way I wrote at the time that the game was ok but very short scoring it 5/10.
It’s ok, nothing spectacular. There’s a big gunfight at the end, but the rest is mostly boring.
The authors got some potential, but he needs a lot of work. To many enemies behind corners, simple geometry, and short playtime makes this map good for a few minute half life fix, but that’s about it.
This map is just not worth it im afraid, box rooms tied together with dull corridors. The finale is nothing more than a box room with a few models thrown into it and a ton of combine placed at one end, and rebels at the other. Good for a laugh perhaps, otherwise avoid it.
This map was okay. Very short (10-15 minutes, for me).
As stated, the enemy placement was somewhat predictable.
But the antlions and manhacks surprised me a little, for some reason.
It’s just combat and corridors, really. The best part was G-Man hanging around at the beginning and being a meat shield.

It starts of really weird because the first enemy you’d encounter is a zombie and a sniper. As for the enemies, they constantly spawn right in front of you as if they’re predictable in every corner. Map layout is so messy, tons of obstructions making the map claustrophobic.
