Starting in an elevator, you must enter the boarded up complex and then escape to the surface.
As I am sure you guessed, things won’t be very easy.
Plan ahead or else you may have trouble retracing your steps. Good Luck!

This seems to have been a release from a mapping competition on Half-Life.ru, although I can’t find any details on it now.
The text on the screen is in Russian but that doesn’t make any difference with regard to playing it. At the end there is some but it’s finished by then anyway and the images tell the story.
Essentially there are two main areas and you need to fight your way through both, although the first is very easy first time around.
All in all, it’s nothing special but remember this was released in 2003 and at the time everybody probably loved it.
10 years make a difference, so just bear that in mind if you play it.

A little bit of combat and some button pushing, not much to it. Some very slow-moving doors and a long elevator ride seem to be included just to make it last longer. I guess the mapping is okay for what it is though. The ending area includes the Blast Pit monster and a lot of Grunts who drop in on top of each other from the ceiling.
Not really worth downloading.

Ha! You know, we had taste way back then too!
Not much here at all, and what’s there is pretty basic. A couple of Xen aliens standing around and then some ambushes waiting for you as you hit a big important button and then backtrack. This map at least has a couple of different and visually distinguished areas, although the single-colored lighting is a bit overdone in a couple cases.
Would have been much more challenging if you weren’t handed a couple of AR grenades right at the start.

one part reminded me of the opposing force but I wish it was done better
Well. I’d say that to me this looks like another Czech or eastern Europe crazy mod. You know this eastern European mods always are kind of odd and crazy, and though I didn’t understand the language I think the story has some acid, dark-humor kind of “plot”.
The whole first part until you get to the worm and the radioactive liquid is fair ok, you battle some xenians guys without trouble, but then that worm part screw all up! Very bad designed (You don’t know where to go and the obvious return its kind of impossible if you don’t use noclip), and I know it was back from the first 2000nd years but I guess back then there were some quality maps around.
In conclusion, play it if you like to play everything available, that for now, sadly it’s not much.. 🙁

Maybe play it when you’re bored but I still suggest to think twice..
There’s no story to it but it’s obvious that you try to escape Black Mesa. The mapping is kind of ok with the exception for badly chosen textures and terrible monster placement. For example there’s a barnacle pulling you up. So just that you get stuck between walls once you’ve killed it.
The fights itself were average but not unfair. Eventually you escape and get some outro text in an unknown language. If this was the author his first release it actually was ok for that if not then it’s just terrible & sad.

Wow I hope that was a typo and you weren’t actually playing this map for an hour and 12 minutes, poor guy.
Oops ya actually only 12 to 15 mins or so 😛
I’m sorry for posting some incredibly awful reviews before. Can’t write those damn things 🙁
Anyway, when I saw a new mod, I was like “Wow! Another mod! Finally!” Yeah, I was a bit tired of those EP2 competitions.
After playing it, I didn’t feel any different. It’s just another 2003ish standard mod actually.
Combat is quite lacking. There are only a few aliens in the beginning and a LOT of soldiers coming down from ropes IN ONE PLACE. Also, in the same room, I was very confused. When I pressed that button, the bridge broke, and the Tentacle came. I didn’t know what to do, and acid came from the floor and kept rising. But that door on the other side was still open. It was sort of teasing me. But, later it closes. And when that happens, you’re screwed. You actually have to go from the pipes to the door. At first, I thought this was a mapping mistake. But no! This is what you actually have to do!
But I talked enough about that moment. But really though, there isn’t a lot to say. Some mediocre lighting, some texture issues etc.
The end I didn’t understand, because it was in Russian.
Good mod, but standard.
P.S.: My reviews still suck. 🙁
Combat is a bit unbalanced at the end but still beatable. The level design is quite bad as well. It got to the point where I ended up softlocking myself after jumping down the pit.
