Another entry for a very old mapping competition. I am sure you will realize that this didn’t win!
You start off in a prison cell and things just get worse.
Can you survive the final test?

As regular readers will know I hate being too negative to authors because at least they have made and released something but this one seems like a collection of ideas into a non-coherent map.
Visuals and Sound
The main area that you reach to fight the final battle had some interesting lighting but that’s all I could say. Nothing to mention about the sound either.
Gameplay
One “find the weapon” moment, one “find the route” moment and then you just fight a few antlions and an antlion guard. With those spoilers out of the way it really didn’t offer anything interesting.
Layout/Design
Too mishmash. One strange room leading to another.
Summary
The real starts has the text “Run, Forrest, Run!” Take that advice and run, just run away from it.
The Not So Great Escape.
3 minutes of hope! – then disappointment.
Dire. Do not bother. As for the Antlion Guard, it was so timid and sad I wanted to take it with me a give it a good home.
These are very helpful reviews! You all have undoubtedly saved me many hours of uncontrolled sobbing had I accidentally loaded this map. Thanks!
We wouldn’t want that Jeff. Dear me.
Great news. We persuaded the poor Antlion Guard to come home with us. Gave it a bowl of warm milk which went down well. For eats, it likes the occasional nibble on a headcrab so no problem there. It’s tucked in nice and cosy in bed now.
There is a worry though, it keeps muttering ‘mommy” – how big is mommy!?
This little jest is more entertaining than the map – for sure.
For some reason, I didn’t get the antlion guard. Well, I did, but it showed up after I got the “test passed” message, and the screen was black and I couldn’t fight it (it head butted me, but I took no damage).
It’s sort of not bad. Some of the antlions in the last room just stood there until I attacked them–others had no problem attacking me once I moved.
If you want to try various ways of fighting antlions that don’t appear to endlessly spawn, it’s worth 5 minutes.
