I only gave this a MAYBE because of the gameplay length. It’s just a very short but fun map. There’s not much to do, except try and escape, you could try to safe the security guard but I’m not sure it’s possible.
A fun 8 minutes but that’s all.

Eh, this was a pretty well designed, if very, very small map. Pretty challenging when your Barney keeps *shooting you in the back* when you dare to get between him and his prey!! Also, pretty challenging when he won’t follow you up the ramp and help you kill that damn grunt.
Short, pretty fun, nice design work. Worth a play.

It’s kind of interesting. I initially worked to save both security guards and then struggled for how to proceed. Eventually I figured out who should live and who should die. There doesn’t seem to be a real ending though, just a blinding light when you open the final door. It’s a decent few minutes of gameplay

This isn’t a bad map by any means, there’s just not much to it.
It’s a product of the TWHL mini competition that I recall reading, looking at the base map, and thinking “this seems kind of bland and uninteresting. I’ll be surprised if anything interesting comes of it.” Well, this map is mildly interesting but in all it just isn’t worth going out of your way for. There’s nothing wrong with it, there’s just no substance to it.

Well this is not the best HL1 map you may play but I guess is not the worst neither. Overall a realistic and nice BM setting and environment in the scenario. But the whole thing was very short, and you only fight xenians.
This whole map, feels like the work of some mapper which is trying to reach a decent quality standard inside a map.
Yeah this is all I can say about this little map. is just perfect for a play it later 5 minute break

This was a pretty short experience. Not that I mind so much, but I like my mods to last at least a bit. Now, that is pretty much the only reason I don’t give “Play Now” rating. Apart from that there’s some good design and balanced action.
What slightly confused me was the whole rescue idea. I thought I was supposed to really rescue everyone I could, but even though I managed to rescue both saveable characters, the ending didn’t seem like any bigger success than if I survived alone.
I actually did the same thing like vancanucksfan in my first playthrough. I managed to save the second security guard you meet. He’s supposed to get barnacle’d and after you pick up his pistol, the scientist in the next room opens the door for you. But since he didn’t die (I killed the barnacle with my crowbar), nothing happened. So I thought something was wrong with the map and I ended up wandering around for at least five minutes trying to figure out how to proceed. Restarting and letting the guard die did the trick.

There’s not a lot to be said about this map, really. It’s about 5-6 minutes long, depending on your gameplay style. The combat was nice, the environment was pretty well made and it was overall very fun to play. The only minor issue I had with this map was the start, but overall it was a pretty pleasant map.
