While attempting to escape Black Mesa, Freeman’s tram is halted by a military lockdown at an administrative facility chiselled into the side of a canyon wall.
Freeman must restore power to the tram and, along the way, discover what happened to the scientists.
“You are Gordon Freeman once again. It’s several months after the Black Mesa incident and you are living in an isolated area of New Mexico.
You keep a few Xen creatures around for entertainment but, things are out of control.
It’s time to “clean up” around the house and go to the beach.
After that, your going to investigate a rumour the military has taken over the powerplant nearby. Then, it’s time for a cold one with your friends.”

Your objective is the F-15 hangar.
To get to it you need to pass through a number of aggressive obstacles.
Reaching the hangar is only part of the battle, getting inside also requires some thinking.

You arrive at one of the Black Mesa sectors by aircraft and due to technical problems you need to descend to the lower levels via ladders and elevators.
Part way down, the base is attacked and your only way out is back the way you came.
Can you reach the aircraft again and thence to freedom?

“All you can remember in a fuzzy haze is everything going wrong in the test chamber. You remember getting out and overhearing a transmission saying some soldiers have come in and are killing everyone and that some scientists and security guards have got hold of a hanger and a plane. They are waiting for more people to come. You then walked on and you can remember a big explosion and the roof caving in then nothing…………”

“Guess what? Gordon got himself another job! And once more it’s a high Tech low profile kind of thing at another secret location somewhere in the Arizona desert. Some people just never learn, do they? Unfortunately, Gordon’s old army buddies got wind of his new job and following the saying “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”, have decided to do everything in their power to make Gordon’s first day at work a very very VERY bad one.
