    Imagine if you tried to make your first map – your VERY first map, with any kind of mapping program whatsoever – based around the Stargate Base, as seen so often in the series. You’d end up with something very much like this. It’s very, very basic, and there’s absolutely no detail on the map. Plus, the new training maps crashed Half-Life. A lot more work needed, I think.

    I downloaded and tried it.

    The included readme.txt mentions that not all files are there (this is an alpha version, remember)

    As it stand, you can simply visit the base, and that’s it.

    i cant get this mod to work I says library cs.dll missing client.dll

  4. The client.dll is in the StargateSG2Alpha3\cl_dlls folder.Make sure its there

    No, not really. You can load the other maps with the console. It will give you an idea, what this would have been like, if it hadn’t been abandoned in an early stage.. I’m a big fan of stargate, and I think this could have been great.
    Some of the maps are dm-maps, by the way. Another tip: If you have a weapon, the right mouse button is your flashlight. If you don’t have a weapon, left and right mouse button are nightvision on and off…
