This is a beta of a Star Wars themed mod that I don’t believe was ever released. If anybody can add any information please contact me and I will update the details

Installation Instructions
  • Copy the SWTestmod folder into your Half-Life folder.
  • Restart or start Steam.
  • Test Mod should now be listed in your Library tab.

    Although I don’t normally like Star Wars stuff, this particular mod was kinda fun. It was very, very hard though and I had to cheat to beat it.

    Don’t forget it’s an unfinished beta and as far as I know the mod is dead, so don’t expect a full proper release. Enjoy what you have.

    Thanks go to Ian for sending me the mod. As I said in the introduction, if anybody has information about this mod please contact me.

    Oh, I nearly forget the voice acting is in French.

    I’ve never finished this mod, I always get wasted scrapping with the Scout Walkers.
    Yes, I am a sad Star Wars fan, but this is still a good mod. Works fine in old style Half Life/Custom Game.

    +Wicked new weapons/code/sprites/sounds
    +Some nice Terrain at the end

    Yay! I liked this much as I’m a big SW fan 🙂 There are 4 maps for testing (see “maps” folder)
    The weapons and sounds were awesome, but unfortunately as the mod title already tells it’s just a test mod, now I wonder if there is any complete SW mod for HL1, like competing with the old “Jedi Knight” series!? :O

    Pro’s:
    -New sounds, speech, models (Stormtroops!, AT-ST’s), weapons (incl. rocket launcher, lightsaber)
    -A bit Star Wars feeling
    -Testing weapons against the Empire possible

    Con’s:
    -Unfinished of course (or yeah, just a test mod)
    -Boring mapping
    -Very short
    -No SW music

    Why are there so many people praising this? Maybe is because I’m not a Star Wars fan, but I found this mod really, really bad, the mapping is just boring and terrible, the only saving grace was the new weapons, which I have to admit, I had fun trying them all, but the new weapons were not enough to save this mod, I’ll give it a “Maybe” because it’s worth a look, but don’t expect anything balanced or well done, except for, again, the new weapons
