This map is set on a space station. It’s very linear and square. Every corridor seems to end in a right-angle corner. The lighting effects are really good but the enemies simply appear out of nowhere and that really bugs me. Similarly ammo is left strategically lying around. I have not finished this map because I got stuck in an elevator bug and didn’t have the motivation to reload from my last save point. I could go on about what’s wrong with it but I won’t.
Will this be the best Half-life map you play today? Only if it’s the ONLY Half-Life map you play! Should you play it? Yes, why not.

The map looked pretty good but yeah – the way the enemies were spawned was a bit idiotic, there were some bugs and I couldn’t get pass the elevator either (so I cheated).
Very nice looking map and I must be lucky, no bugs or problems!
I have to agree with you though, the enemies are a pain in the neck…
P.S.: I didn’t like the ending and I didn’t understand a word of what was written.

Was that text written in another language the ending? A friend and myself played the .bsp over sven coop.
It’s probably Polish, because [maybe im wrong] I saw on hl-mapping.pl map also named “stacja” [but I haven’t been able to download it], in polish maps section. Btw, in polish “stacja” means “Station”.
The combination of weapons and enemies is really strange.I had to fight zombies with handgrenades, controllers with AR grenades, 30 sounddogs with just the shotgun, etc. The decor is nice, but always the same. It’s just corridors, elevators, and the usual button/door puzzles. However, it is consistent, with the theme. Which is, get off the station, in your escape pod. There are no bugs, except the hl1 elevator bug. In one case, I kept getting stuck to the floor of the elevator, and the only solution was to jump out, just before it reached the end. However, you don’t need to cheat.
Yup it’s a flee-from-a-spacestation-map. There’s nothing more important to say, just find a way out.
I did not recognize any bugs except a controller was blocking the elevator up until it smoothly passed through it 😉
The spawns are annoying but also surprising as it seems they don’t stop, but they do. Unfortunately there is no spawn sound, so it’s often like: “What the heck?? I just killed you.. and your brother!” 😉
Pro’s:
-Decent design, maybe a lil basic and monotonous – but also good lighting
-Good balanced firefights, altho it’s strange without a crowbar – unusual weapon selection
Con’s:
-Pretty short
-No variety in design and odd weapons (a rocket launcher on a spacestation?)
-No spawning sounds
-No story, puzzles
-Too easy difficulty cause of heavy weapons like Magnum, shotgun, rocket launcher, (contact) grenades
The good thing is that he gives good weapons in the beginning, the bad thing is that he gives a very limited ammo. So on Hard you are always lack of ammo. Then he gives a shotgun, the same, poor shotgun in many poor mods as a main actor in many situation because other kind of ammunition is quickly depleted. On Hard you can¡t even kill the Alien Grunt in one hit. This discourage to play a lot.
