  1. Avoid It!

This should probably be called “Gluon Gun Test”, because that’s all you ever do, pick a gluon gun, and go through different “levels” with enemies of increasing difficulty, first scientists? then… controllers? but then headcrabs, houndeyes, zombies, and so on until you reach the end, is only mildly fun (because I love the Gluon gun) but in general, this just another waste of time

  2. Think Twice

Not terribly original, but an amusing little challenge. Grab Half-Life’s BFG, the Gluon Gun and lay waste to waves of Half-Life’s enemies from headcrabs to the gargantua and Gonarch.

On the hardest difficulty, there is actually some challenge in order to keep your health, suit charge and ammo topped up when going between stages.

I suspect on lower difficulties its less interesting.

  3. Play It Later

Small floating platforms where you fight big groups of different enemy types one by one. Only gluon, would be good if each platform had a new weapon + ammo.

Worth a play to be honest, didn’t expect it to be as fun as it was when I realized what the premise was. Ending was a small surprise.

  4. Maybe?

At last one Mod with enough Gluon Gun to enjoy. Half-Life always made us believe Gluon Gun is a special weapon, with special ammo and special view and special origin and special power. I said enough. Gluon Gun is not special anymore, from now on it’s a nice and common beautiful gun with which we are going to fight more enemies and in the open field like a real hero, not like a coward hidden behind the wall with the shotgun in your hands. What is special in this? You could sit like a camper too and take your sniper and waiste up to 5 minutes just to eliminate 1 target.
