You start in a cave and have some buttons to press and enemies to kill.
It’s a simple map, with a simple layout and a simple ending.
Kill the enemies and press the buttons.
Even a simpleton could do it.

Short gun feast, played ok not much balance of play, very basic design no structured ending, part 1 of something.
Leave the cave, open the gate, open the second gate, enter the building, press the button, kill the enmies, open the door, press the button, kill the enemies, back to amin screen.
It took longer to create this post than it did to play the map. yes, I have played worse and I am sure will play worse but it really isn’t worth your time.
Sorry, but it wasn’t much fun to play.
OH, please accept my apologies for having this as today’s 100SDoN, but there’s something wrong with my PC and I had to find a small map that worked.
It’s not terrible but it’s not very good either. Level design and texturing is very basic, however the lighting effects are definitely fairly average and works well with the simplistic design of the map.
Combat is easy near the start with alien slaves and headcrabs but can get tricky near the end with lots of alien grunts, human grunts and assassins around corners and doors. Overall it’s not particularly hard since you get a few health packs, batteries with health and H.E.V. stations near the end.
Not really recommended but if you want to kill a few minutes with this brief map then give it a try.
A pretty short and boring map. That is all.
Not really much to write about except that you fight a few enemies following by pressing a button which opens a door. Rinse and repeat a few times and then you have the end of the mod.
It should really take any player less than five minutes. It’s short and there are fights and that is it.
You took five minutes? You are a masochist.
Very early and basic map, certainly not the worst offering this summer, but don’t expect too much.
The design is very simplistic, being boxy to the extreme and without any worthy features the game hinges around the brief encounters with Grunts and aliens.
There’s not much in the way of a challenge, only one sequence could have been inspiring and difficult, but this was mostly negated by waiting for both sets of Grunts to finish each other off.
The finish is a big mark-down for me, will never understand why any mapper can’t be bothered to structure an ending.
Ok, for a few minutes of fun, but it’s not essential reading, or should that be playing?
The good:
Its only a 131kb download.
End of Good.
To be fair Phillip did warn us, but we know not what we do. I like coffee break length maps but this takes less time than I take stirring my coffee (I drink it black no sugar!)
Hmm! I’m trying to think of more words to sum this up but only one comes to mind.
Not much to say about this one. It’s kill, push button that looks like a light, and repeat. The author says it took a day to build and that’s clear. Not even worth the 131 kb download.
Sadly this isn’t the worst of the bunch so far in the 100 Days. I don’t blame Phillip, he is just the messenger.
Another storyless map with good gameplay but primitive design. The mountains are not flat, but they look like the ones in old 2,5D games. The layout don’t use third dimension. There are poorly textured lights on the ceiling. It is possible to jump out of the last area and reveal that the author didn’t bother to seal the map and compiled it with only bsp and rad.
We start in the desert, go through some base, press buttons to open doors.
The room with alien grunts and human grunts is very challenging and fun.
The last door leads back to the main menu. It’s good that the repetition doesn’t have enough time to bore.
Talking about simple yea. That was boring. You can’t say that this or that needs to be redone, because everything sucks so badly..
Could work as co-op map for Svencoop with little modifications, enough brainless action for that, heh..
I could call this one as only for real fans, I mean a real fan would play everything on his or her way, no matter how loosy or great is it?, aren’t they??? so u can play this if u are into the real fan category.
This feels as a test for some linear combat with no big deal, than that just kill everything step in ur way, so you are warned, maybe the part when u press the button and 3 cmb soildiers came out along with 2 assasains and grunts, would require a kind of strategy, so is an ok way to lern it if u are a begginer player….., more than that, better find for cooler mods.
Wouldn’t this mean that every single mod/map would get a “Think Twice” or higher? Like you said, real fans would play more or less everything.
Well i’m a real fan I could be fitted into that category, and as u say I play almost evrything, but even myself, I have my limits sir!, I mean if a map or mod is really awfull, like endless arenas with no layouts or goals at all I stop there!,and avoid it, is bad and that’s all. But when the mod or map has a very basic layout, as this one, even if it’s loosy, then u can say is playable, so therefore for real fans, because I mean, the just “fans”, doesn’t waste time on them, but real fans, do that we waste time playing the most of all, if it’s acceptable u would find it ok to play it, but I think at last is just matter of criteria and values about it, at least for me that’s my rule to rate them, avoid it, if mods-maps have no feet and head, therefore no purpose, think twice, if they are in the baby basics of mapping, this is, they have at least one layout even if it’s plain or really simple., and maybe if they’re trying to be more complex but don’t fill many espectatives of their own goals, and so, is higher, I mean is a matter of value and criterias holding together the perceotion of the mod for me. And I still conssider myself as that as a real fan…
Funny lil map about to escape a cave and shoot your way through the end of it outside at night.
Pro’s:
-Some good design, maybe a bit undetailed and “empty”
-Good balanced combat
-Much ammo and also weapons compared to its length
Con’s:
-Way too short
-Less variation
-Sudden end
-Not really a story
-No puzzles
-A bit too dark at some places
Let me put it this way: Runder is small. The framerates are low. The monsters are packed like sardines with no thought given to placement. Its never going to win any beauty awards. There’s no plot or aim. And “runder” isn’t even a word (I checked in my dictionary)
So overall I’m not impressed. It isn’t as bad as maps like Rum: there isn’t anything obviously wrong (except framerates, which are low), but it really isn’t much fun to play. Perhaps if the rooms were expanded so that you are given a chance to move and the map optimised properly, then it may have been enjoyable to play, if only briefly. To put it bluntly: don’t download Runder.

Runder for Half-Life
Well, I’m sorry, but I didn’t like this one at all.
The level design was, I must say, terrible. It felt more like one of those forts people on Garry’s Mod make. It just didn’t feel good.
The combat was tiring too. You can’t use a lot of weapons either, making this even more repetitive and boring. But they had variety, I guess???
Overall, I rarely put Avoid It recommendations, so yeah, you should better play something else.
The level is not bad, requires some planification, but just a bit. It’s possible to complete it in a full run.
