I am very pleased to announce that the site has a new feature. From today, it is possible to add mini-recommendation images to each entry in the Mapping Challenge releases.
The images can ONLY be used for the mapping challenges, and the section that allows you to simply click an image and add it is ONLY available if the release is a Mapping Challenge.
The section appears UNDER the main recommendation image section and can be used independently of it. HOWEVER, yes capitals!, the mini images have NO effect on the main rating score. So, if you only add mini images your review will NOT count towards a recommendation score.
To use them, it is best to write an introduction to the release as a whole and this text could even be your summary. The system doesn’t NEED the text, but it will just help separate the main recommendation from the mini images.
Using the HEADING code is also highly recommended and this is a text button under the main comment area. I’m making it sound much harder than it really is, but having a nicely formatted comment will encourage readers to read and respond to it. A wall of text is often ignored.
Here is an example comment using the images:
If you have any questions or doubts, please don’t hesitate to ask.
