Over the last few months, I have been streaming more and more, and I have to say I am enjoying it. It’s forcing me to play more, which I always neglect.
So, I have decided to start my own streaming events. The first official one is called Mega Miigga.
Unlike many of the other Events here on RTSL, MegaMiigga takes place over a few weekends, instead of a monthly stream.
During the first, third and maybe fourth weekends of April 2016, I will play and discuss all of the SP releases by Miigga, including his entries into the *Ville mapping Challenges.
It is difficult to estimate exactly how long this event will take, but I will stream for at least four hours each weekend.
Each map will be livestreamed on the RTSL Twitch channel and then uploaded to the RTSL YouTube channel into its own playlist.
The event will be mentioned in the weekend stream and giveaway schedule posts.
Reminders will be posted on the RTSL Twitter and Facebook pages.
The event page, doesn’t have any embedded videos yet, as I haven’t created any.
The Details Table section contains all his releases and if you are a logged in member, the table will show you which maps you have reviewed.
I will also be using the event to update the screenshots and posts.
After that, I will start a new event.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Nice! I’m looking forward to watching this. I’ll be in the chat. If questions pop up regarding my design decisions or other such things, I’ll try to answer. 🙂
I’m not sure if you have a microphone or not, but if you do, it could be great if you co-host the stream with Phillip.
I second this. Having the author do ‘making of’ commentary with Phillip over Skype for at least a few of the maps would be awesome.
I’ll ask him.
Could you please do another map, please 😀 ,to close your legacy or something like that.
I have suggested it already.
God I’m an absolute fan of Miigga, and I’d definitely say that his maps are my favourite of all time in the Half Life modding community. This is very very exciting, and I’m really looking forward to see what Miigga has to say in retrospekt about his maps!
Philip, I believe the subpage ‘Miigga’s Maps’ is broken, and it’s kind of dissapointing that we can’t find his whole collection there. Is there a possibility that you could fix it and organize the maps again, so we can easily experience them?
I am working on something that will replace that page. BTW, where did you find the link to that page?
I had it bookmarked, obviously, hoping you’d eventually notice! It’s been broken since you shifted the site from PP to RTSL.
It can also be found by simply googling “miigga’s maps”
Interesting. Once I have the new page online, I’ll do an automatic redirect.
Thanks for the praise 😮
It’s nice to know that there are people who remember my maps fondly even though I haven’t really been present in this community since my previous map release which was in 2013.
Baryonic Predicament was a wonderful map. The underground section had my jaw drop, and as always I really enjoyed exploring the map you’d built
Hell, if it means more streams then I’m in full support of this! I love the live events, especially the interactivity with the hosts and the community.
Yeah, the interactivity with the community is one of the best aspects for me.
Oh now if only your streams weren’t held while I’m deeply, deeply asleep on the other side of the world. 😀 Will definitely want to watch the recordings though.
Phillip, which one are you going to start with?? I think I’ve got all of his in my game archive! Some of us OLD peeps stay up late!
I’ll be taking them in chronological order, starting with the oldest.
Will definetly try to watch your recordings….ive started playing some of the games off the list of Mega Migga…so far pretty cool….
