Work your way around a maze and find the central waterfall.
Of course, you will find enemies and barriers to your progress, but you didn’t expect it to be easy did you?
Can you reach the center?

This map was sent to me as a gift and I would like to thank Joe for making such a nice gesture. It was never meant for public release, but he kindly agreed. Therefore any bugs etc. are there simply because it was never officially finished.
It should also be noted that it is connected to the Arcadium mod idea.

I enjoyed this little level. As Joe said, it’s not Research and Development, but it was fun to play.
Readers looking for a story driven, long mod, should be warned that it will only take about 5 to 10 minutes to play.
The fact that it was made as a gift is all the more appealing to me.
Enjoy
I’ve just tried to install this and I’m getting
7-Zip: Diagnostic Messages
# Message
1 Data error in “planetphilip.com.readme.txt”.File is broken
2 Data error in “mazegift.bsp”.File is broken
3 Data error in “mazegift.prt”.File is broken
Trying to extract them individually doesn’t work either and I never extract the readme.
Any ideas ?
I’ve just replaced it twice and had the same problem, although the local copy is fine.
Anyway, the FileFront one worked for me. I’ll try renaming it or something. Sorry for the trouble.
No apologies needed these thing happen to us all.
Its quick Its a maze theres a few combine lurking around to kill and something else trying to kill you. short and fun. The melons were sweet and juicy at the end LOL
I really enjoyed this little piece quite a bit ! Nice, simple design, yet clever enough to to have some fun with. Go ahead and have a go at it !
A fun distraction for about 10 minutes. A great mod idea to build on.
Nice little mod. I found the waterfall quite quickly, so I went back to see what else I could kill. It would be good to see this as part of a larger map/mod. As it is so short I cant justify a PIN but its definitely one to play when you need a short distraction.
Finally got back to this.
The first time I tried to play this, I just wandered around and got killed by the big floating thing that came up behind me.
This time, I was more cautious and discovered more enemies and the blue grid, then the key, then the melons.
Nice break from combat even if there are a few enemies for you to kill.
It’s a map with a simple premise. Bland and boring. The pictures will tell you what your getting into.
This is a very basic maze map. Took me about 14 minutes of aimless wandering to get to the end.
Usage of space and world brushes: 1/10
It’s a maze with repeating textures.
Visuals 2/10
Hardly anything to look at. Bright lights and combine covered in black ink.
Gameplay: 2/10
Run around aimlessly shooting combine when you can.
Final Score: 5/30 – 16%
Final Comments: It’s fun until I got really lost. My final percentage doesn’t reflect the map rating I gate it this time. I did enjoy it until I thought I was lost forever. Then I found the end a few minutes later. Visual / world scores are independent only for this map. Any other map, rating should reflect score (final % vs stars)
