A simple map where you have to find Maria and help her escape. Rito made this map whilst being directed by his sister. Any complaints, blame her! 🙂

Installation Instructions
- Copy maria_haunted.bsp into your Half-Life 2: EP 2 Maps folder.
- Copy maria_haunted.ain into your Half-Life 2: EP 2 Graphs folder.
- Launch Half-Life 2: Episode Two
- Open the console and type map maria_haunted.
- Press enter/return or click the Submit button.
- Play and Enjoy.

If you enjoy bashing zombies and head crabs with the crowbar then you will love this one, however if you enjoy even more taking the shoot gun to them then this will have you in raptures. it’s all very basic design and just a 5 minute excuses for saving the girl and having some fun.
Kill zombies, save girl, kill more zombies.

In the context of how much can be done within a limited space, this is a really well done map.

I’m revising my recommendation.
This is a well-made map, but it’s not something I liked well enough to say “you have to play it”, which is what I use PIL and PIN recommends for.
This is fun, its nice your saving someone from a zombie infestation.
It was fun. I played having a great time, til I got confused at a part. Then started getting bored. Still, Its a great level.
It’s got some nice touches like the headcrabs coming out of the floor, but overall it’s not a map I think is worth playing. It’s just a little bit of zombie combat and exploration. Strangely, everything seems very flat, there’s no height variation… it kinda feels like a Doom map. Also, Maria had a shotgun and piles of ammo, so she could’ve saved herself easily.

A great little map which is nothing more than some good ‘ol Shotgun fun killing zombies. Simple map and not really anything Half Lifey to it, but I enjoyed it.
Combat is too easy in this map. Throw fridge at zombies, instant kill. Level design is simple, nothing much to say. If you’re into quick and short maps, then I recommend this.
