Work your way up and down the levels to find the exit into sunshine and fresh air.

I’m stuck. I can’t find the way to get to the upper levels. I’m going to play again and see if I can find it. Be Right Back 😉
I’ll post a short review AFTER I’ve managed to finish it!
Okay, I finally managed to escape!
I liked the beginning. It’s a little touch but somehow made it seem more realistic. Make sure you have the volume high enough to hear the talking.
The map itself was a little repetitive especially all those zigzag corridors. The ladder sections were strange because there didn’t seem to be any real reason why they would be like that.
Anyway, fun for maybe ten minutes but nothing special.
EDIT: I forgot to mentioned that the room with the ammo and fire drums is thoughtless, I mean who would really put ammo crates in with Ifre drums. And what exactly were fire drums doing in a prison?.
I got the dreaded A.I. Disabled so deleted the thing.
Score: 3.5 out of 5
Annoyance Rating: 3420- Shotguns hurt when you’re unarmoured…
New Models/Skins/Etc.: Hands/Hands/Haannddss
Gameplay: Hide the children in the closet. Time to get anti-social on these punk-arses!
Story?:
Look, there’s no time to bother if you are Gordon “You! In the third row! Turn of your *#(@!ing cellphone!” Freeman. It’s quite possible that you are Someone “Someone” Someone again. Something happened, possibly involving a rare platypus named George. Someone got hurt. Someone pushed a button and now you, the prince of darkness, must kill everything that moves with your fellow man who dreams about cheese. Awesome.
Onwards!
So this map has a tiny intro. Stuff happens that you can’t see, someone dies and people start getting shot at. It’s chaotic enough, especially if you play on Hard and have to watch for the fallen weapon and grab it as quickly as possible. After that, it becomes an interior gaunt through combine-related architecture killing everyone as quickly as possible.
To make it harder on you, the deity of all things evil, you don’t have a hazard suit. Each bullet is going to go straight through your lack of bulletproof clothing and cause you to die of lead poisoning. That being said, it’s not so much a gaunt as a hit and run deal and it will become *alot* harder than usual. That being said, the Combine will still demonstrate their complete lack of knowledge in military tactics and drop nicely to your shotgun shells. In a comfortable (and decidedly claustraphobic) architecture, the gaunt isn’t that bad. Apart from the usual soldiers and police, a few scanners and manhacks are dotted here and there to prove how useless floating robots can be.
As i’ve already noted, the architecture *isn’t* that bad and is actually quite good in some places. Though mostly blocky, the creator ensures that there’s enough random objects to interest you along the way. The enemy placement, though not particularly clever, get the job done comfortably enough.
So, what’s wrong with the mod you might say? A ton of things. For one, there’s no storyline. No background, no nothing. There’s no dialogue. No NPC interaction besides the beginning, no nothing. Just random killing which bothers me a little. Some areas are aquirably hard to get to, to some parts impossible. If you keep the NPC alive and bring him with you on your anti-social quest for freedom, he will make the doors commit genocide on you which is a problem. An elevator, which I believe was supposed to go down, didn’t and therefore required the wings of angelic noclipping fury to skip. Also, the second level isn’t done.
Summary?
It’s not bad. It’s good, actually. Quite solid all the way through regardless of the blocky architecture, repetitive textures and doors that hate all human kind. It still isn’t going to last you more then a cat’s wink, though.

I like the architecture especially in the vertical way I didn’t find it hard (perhaps i’m becoming good…)i’ts a little repetitive in all the way but it’s important not to start to fast in a year that should bring us a lot of really good mods.took me arround 15 min to complete
Yet another prison escape, yet another chapter one, can’t be many left. This is good as far as it went which was basically getting out of jail and reaching the day light, no structured ending and be it part one or otherwise never goes down well with gamers, you would have through by now anyone making a mod would know that. This was all a bit tight for me, not much room any where and being dark sets without a flash light you seem to spend time wedge in to dark place quite a lot. However, plenty of good and tough combat keeps you going with many set pieces needing a couple of attempt to get though, which is always a good thing. Design was good if limited with the centre stair well through the main block being well done and great ambush country. If we ever get Chapter two hope it’s more outside, or if inside the author gives us more room and better lights. 6.5/10
their was no readme file with the download where do I properly install this mod I figured it was a sourcemod but it didnt show up on steam.
For me it’s
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\
and after you restart steam it shows up in steam.Actually on mine its listed right under Jail Escape in the menu.
Not bad but not brilliant. Some good combat game play.
If you haven’t played it, download and play it while we wait for some more mods.
I see that when I first played and reviewed this, I got stuck at the beginning. Well, the same almost happened again. You play as a citizen and therefore have no suit and the consequent flashlight or protection. That’s fine, but it really is a shame not being able to sprint.
The first map is detailed and fairly realistic, within the confines of the Combine and Half-Life 2 universe. You get to explore and fight and generally cause a lot of trouble.
There are three potential citizens to follow you, but as we all know now, they are just more trouble than they are worth. Perhaps there’s a better ending if you rescue them all – I don’t know, or care.
All in all, I did enjoy running around the prison complex and doing what game players do best. I believe you will enjoy it too, which is why I have given it a PLAY IT! recommendation.

Well this isn’t fantastic by any stretch but there’s fun to be had. You’re a rebel escaping from a Combine facility. The main drawback of that starting situation is that you have no flashlight even though there are some very dark vents to crawl through – and you’re unable to use HEV chargers (but somehow battery pickups still work). Explain that one.
What shines here is the gunplay. The architecture is Combine style but nothing really interesting. What could have been nifty setpieces (the elevator ascents and maybe the tall ramp room) were pretty bland and blocky instead.
It’s some fun for 15 minutes or so. The second map is empty, it really ends at the surface at the end of map 1.

Well, I liked the concept in this one. It actually reminded me of the entries we found in “VerticalVille”.
The CMB prison strangely had a cozy feeling, and the combat was close but fair enough and entertaining too. I actually manage to save one rebel but it really didn’t matter because the second map is just an unfinished one.
The door opening was quite annoying as it didn’t feel it opened like a CMB door.
Despite all of that this was an unfinished mod which had a fairly OK first map to play. Possibly if the author would have fixed the end with some trees or outdoor feeling and next would’ve made the screen fade to black could be a perfect ending for the whole little mod. Just a classic jailbreak mod.
This whole mod is nice to Play it Later.

Well, this mod had some ups and downs.
First off I found the enemy placement to be quite bad at times. “Yeah just throw four Soldiers at the player with only one wall to hide behind.” It’s really annoying and dragged my opinion down a bit.
Also, is it just me or do you get more damage in this mod than usual? Every bullet just sucked up my suit power/health.
The design of the place is decent, it’s nothing fantastic but it’s not bad either.
The combat was good, though. Lots of things to shoot which is probably already a plus in a lot of people’s books.
Overall I believe this is worth a play if you just want to shoot some Combine, but don’t expect too much.

Good. Unpolished. Could have been great. Second map is empty. Worth a play or two.

Overall, it was alright. I would have liked it to run a little longer and have an actual ending. You get to the roof and then ask, what do I do next? Play it in about 20 minutes.
