  1. Phillip says Maybe

This is a short, little map which gets better as it goes but not enough for me to recommend it.

Within a better setting some of the set pieces could ahve been quite good, but this goes to show that setting up for a surprise is just as important than the surprise itself.

    5 Words Or Less Review

    Not enough substance

  2. Maybe?

This the sort of map that divides gamers into two camps. One camp will love it, the other hate it.
If you like dark corridors and whacking zombies and headcrabs with the crowbar, this is for you.
    I’m in the other camp.

    1. Small addition, yes the end is a surprise.

    Maybe?

Rather cool just dont know if the end is supposed to end jumping out of the map.

  4. Think Twice

The visuals were quite okay but too sparse indoors.
The shocking moments weren’t quite innovative, nothing I haven’t seen before.
Gameplay was very very sparse, but I guess that’s okay for a horror mod.
Also when you’re in the start/end house you can open the doors and see the skybox.

  6. Maybe?

    Very short horror-esque map.

Not really much to whack with the crowbar, so it’s not for combat lovers. But the end is surprising.

  7. Maybe?

It’s not scary. Well it was used to be scary back in the old days but now, I just find it ridiculous especially you can break out of the map easily without noclipping. This leaves me nothing but Garry’s Mod nostalgia. I used to play tons of horror maps in it.

  8. Play It Now!

I said play it now and here is why. Despite the lack of a tonemap (at least as far as I could tell), there is a lot of useful content here. Maybe not the best way to implement it, but the creativity is certainly there.

I loved the sewer section under the house. that was a really cool idea.

Pros: Not too scary, not too long

Cons: You don’t get any other equipment besides a flashlight, suit, and a crowbar.

I really enjoyed this quick map, but I’ll be honest and say there is no replay value except for maybe studying this map on how the creator did what they did.

PS I am still a sucker for horror and zombies.
