Some genuinely jumpy moments in this mini map-pack, although it is quite hard. Damage is unavoidable in some areas and health packs are scarce. I’ve quite liked what I’ve seen so far.

I’ve reached the area in screenshot 5, slaughtered the hordes of zombies below, and — apart from a ledge on the right, which comes to a dead end — have run out of places to go. Has anybody completed this mini map-pack?

  2. from the screen 5 you can jump on the left behind the three, after it’s obvious and you are close to the end…

It wasn’t that bad for an experience and even if it is tiny in some place design was correct

  3. This map now has a working download.

  4. Phillip says Maybe

The first two maps are definitely better than the very short last one and there were some nice little touches.

I did get a bit lost in the second map, but a careful look around shows the way, although there are some ledges that lead you nowhere, which is a little annoying.

It’s really just 3 maps built around a general dark and slightly-scary theme.

Certainly better than most of the drivel I have been posting lately.

  5. Play It Now!

This was actually ok … especially compared to the previous days ….and this is reflected in the “play it now” recommendation …..
and now i know how the “one map per day ” works ( as most maps are many years old ) this deserves what ive awarded
although the maps not that big it can be tough in parts and there’s not as many health packs as you would expect … so plenty of “F6″ing is recommended to get you to the end !
there’s also some nice set pieces including the exploding hallway .. this reminds me of the first “FEAR” game … also some of leons mods included a similar idea !
overall a decent map and worth a play it now !

  6. Avoid It!

Yeah, I don’t understand the praise. I like Ravenholmy maps, but at least give the player SOMETHING other than the crowbar (there’s a revolver but no ammo for it). The mapping is definitely better than a lot of the previously posted 2004-2005 maps, but the gameplay is just awful. I’m surprised neither of the recommendations posted have mentioned the unavoidable damage. I don’t know how it is in other difficulty settings, but I literally needed to godmode in order to finish the map due to two different forced damage events and only ONE health pack. It also has no proper ending… this is boring, poorly designed and just not worth playing in my opinion.

  7. UnsettlingLife

Can’t play this at all. Screen locks up as if I’m in the mappers zone. Installed via MapTap which is usually fine.

  8. Maybe?

Follow my journey as I go down the list of source mods at http://www.runthinkshootlive.com/hl2/

This is the 10th one on the list.

3 short maps which prolly could fit into a single map. Very likely beginner’s maps. Got slashed down to 5 HP by the first unavoidable damage area, and then killed by the second one. Also died a second time trying to crowbar the boss. Other than that, just some basic zombie combat and an occasional hard to find puzzling spot.

    Play It Later

Well, at least this is fluid and it had some OK “scary” moments.

The 3 maps are quite logical enchained, and the enemies are the regular predictable bland ones head crabs and zombies we have in HL2.

Overall is a bit entertaining to play for some quick 10 minutes.

So I guess is a perfect Play it Later.

The end is just terrible so I warn you ’bout that.

  10. Play It Later

Really cool maps, I really liked them.
I really liked expecially the thing that you have just a crowbar and a magnum with no ammo (you have only 6 shots, so don’t use them all)
7/10 Want to explode in the gas room again

  11. Maybe?

I quite liked this! It was bare minimal in terms of weapons, health, etc and I spent most of my time simply using the crowbar (after wasting ammo on the zombies – darn no more ammo or did I just simply not see it?). Lots of traps and things falling on me – or me falling. The ledge part was kinda silly but carefully walking back and it was obvious really. I thought the traps throughout where good but I doubt this mappack will appeal to those who like HL for being HL. It feels like a different game. But a good one 😉 Oh and the last map is kinda rubbish…. Overall, great fun but I doubt I’ll play more than once.

  12. Think Twice

I understand, this is very VERY old map(s), and back in those good old days its maybe was nice, but not now, it looks poor like 99/100 15 y.o. maps. Maybe U will play, if U beat all good maps and cant find any at least “ooookaaaaayyy” map.

Or better replay Leon mappack 🙂
