“With this project, I wanted to focus on exciting, dynamic gameplay. I created a house defence map where the player had many options on how to battle the continuing zombie assault. By giving the player many different tools to defend the house and having the zombies spawn from somewhat random locations, this map creates a unique experience on each play through..”

Being stupid it took me a while to workout what I was supposed to do, even though it said it on the screen. I am refering to a really cool new gameplay mechanic, where the rebel repairs the turrets and manhacks. That adds a nice little twist to the idea. It would have been really cool if when they are smashed around a lot they break again.
Anyway, the level itself is quite fun but I died twice and was in too much of a hurry to post other maps today to repaly it and see if there is an ending.
Are you good enough to find out?
Another little different touch here. You can have your friend repair turrets. Other than that just killing zombies and bad design.
And Phillip, there is an ending but it’s nothing special. I repaired two turrets, killed some zombies and a message told me we were succesfull while I was still killing zombies.
A nice bit of fun. The problem with these gauntlet type maps is that once you’ve cracked – you’ve cracked it and there is no desire to play it again.
When you have 1/2 an hour to spare it’s worth a play to figure out the best posiitions for the turrets. There is an end but it shuts down while you still battling – we ought to be allowed to clear the area then finish.

Defend the base map – my favorite! Rather easy, a bit more challenging to let all teammates survive. Manhacks are actually not friendly – they will cut anything they see, so use only if needed.
I liked this the second time through, since I didn’t fail. A couple of my allies died, but I just concentrated on keeping the turrets up and killing zombies when needed.
There is some replayability in this, at least for players like me. Can I place the turrets better next time? I didn’t use the manhacks, either.
I didn’t beat this map, but I didn’t feel like starting over. It puts a nice spin on the “zombie defense” style with the repairing concept. I’m not sure if poison zombies show up because I didn’t see any, but if they don’t, that’s a bit of a missed opportunity. The mapping feels a bit flat and isn’t too pretty. Otherwise, though, if you’re a fan of defense maps you should play it.
