Sorry, but I didn’t enjoy this much. Too many colours and strange areas. Just doesn’t feel real and the gameplay is too flat.
Seeing the enemies just standing around makes for an easy time.
All in all there’s little to recommend this.

Looks like this is another testmap. The gameplay provides some interesting variety, but the design doesn’t look good, also there are annoying flashing lights which come out of nowhere. The geometry is simple, and textures don’t look well together.
It’s better to play medium version, because hard has too many monsters.
After few rooms, corridors and vents, we are pushed against the barrier, which breaks and we get to metal room with flashing light, screen temporarily fades out and nothing else happens.

Wow! This is about as much fun as a Rabbi would have if you offered him a bacon sandwich!!!
This is from the same author as Bomb Squad, but its from 4 yrs before, I hope no more of his maps are in the OFNF!!!
I am really trying to think of something constructive to say, other than “don’t waste your time”. I’m (as I’ve said many times) not a mapper or modder, but even I can see this is not very well made judging by the back of the Gonarch’s cage and the proportions in some places. I must admit that I used ” god mode” towards the end just to get it over with.

Nice I didn’t know about this map. Gonna check it out.
@Phillip:
I’m back not that I was really gone but I was distracted with job stuff and other things & games.
I’ll see to it that I finish you that list of mods which got updated. The one I once promised you. Further more I uploaded you another new Op4 map for your event yesterday on the FTP so make sure to check it out. Today I gonna upload you some additional mods. One is a rating 5 mod in my eyes.
Besides that I ordered a new PC which should hopefully arrive soon. That means I can finally go back to mapping after 2 years as it was just a pure nightmare to do so on a lap top. Perhaps I can even contribute a own map to your Op4 November contest, we shall see about that.
Nice new features you’ve got here. How long did you need to play it through that’s an awesome idea. Well done.
Ah it turns out I knew this map after all.
Well what can I say about this one. I’m really wondering what some mappers are thinking. I mean come on where is the fun in such a map.
It looks ugly and it plays ugly. Except the crowbar I couldn’t find any other weapon on the map and yet there was crossbow ammo to find. Maybe I’ve overseen the weapon I don’t know but that’s of no consequence. The monsters were stupidly placed and there wasn’t really much to do besides pressing some buttons and reaching the exit point. If it wasn’t for the Gnome Zombies this wouldn’t even had to be an Op4 map at all.
Play it when you’re very – very bored or play it if you’re like me which plays every single Op4 map & mod that exists.

So far the OFNF page is a virtual sea of red and orange reviews, with not a PIN in sight. Unfortunately this map does nothing to change that. The highest praise I can give it works properly and is vaguely interesting. At least there are some triggers and scripted events, but for the most part it is a brief wander through a very basic laboratory environment with rows of static enemies. Lots of the textures are badly scaled and there are some texture glitches. I missed the crowbar at the start so I had to backtrack. Instantly forgettable.

Argh why are these types of maps released?
Randmap puts out much better stuff than this.
This just about hits the bulk of the checklist for What Not To Do In Your Map:
Ugly, blocky design
Horrible flashing lights everywhere
Lights with no obvious source of light
Gaudy colored lighting
Enemies just standing around
Huge groups of enemies clustered together
Token Gman stuck in a room with a window (and it was just perfect that he was facing the wall)
I’m sorry but this map was simply awful. I always try to come up with something constructive or positive to say but for this the best I can say is that it only took a few minutes of my life.

This Op Force maps are so bad so far that this deserves to put it in red too, here we just have a blocky maze, with tons of enemies and just a GLOCK to beat them all!!, is that a joke??? with all the powerful and superb fun plenety of new weaponery OpF has, why the developers just give the same old weapons that are in HL1????, is just stupid, Im supposed to be Adrian Shepard, not the old Gordon, so please give me something else than a glock and that crowbar please!!!!!!!!
So as much of the OpF maps, nothing much to do here just kill xenians and, well I don’t really know if that could be conssidered as fun anymore.

AUTHOR: This is one of my earliest maps that I actually posted, so it is not the best. But be sure to check out some of my other maps that will be released on this site over the next few days/weeks. (Some of my better maps are to come then) Especially Ground Zero by Necromancer. Hope you enjoy!
I’ve alredy played that one and i’ve left my review, I think it was a nice good mod, and definitely improoved your skills on that one, I just have one question Ground Zero2 Fallout from OpF is also from your authory??
No, that’s not the same mod. The ground Zero you are thinking of is for Half-Life, Necromancer’s is for Opposing Force and will be posted here soon.
Wait a minute there are 2 ground zero mods out there for a long time.
Ground Zero 1 for Hl & Ground Zero 2 Fallout created by Derek ” Hellfire” McBurney. Perhaps you should give your map pack another name then so that people wont get confused. “Cause when I saw that mod on the mapping site I actually thought of the other Ground Zero mod and ignored it.
This was one of those maps that I know I’ve played before but I have no idea where I got it from. This map was simply awful. The level design was basic, the texturing ranged from bad to abhorrent and the lighting was seizure inducing. I’m not sure which is worse: This or J2000. This map seems unfinished and wasted my time.

Another horrible map to the list. I didn’t even knew there was a crowbar so I had to use my pistol bullets very sparingly to get by. There are two versions of the map but the hard one is even worse with way too many enemies for the amount of ammo you get. Terrible experience.
