This is a very short and basic release. You just need to fight your way into some rooms and press a few buttons.

I’d suggest playing this on HARD to make it worthwhile, but even then, there’s not much too it.

It’s only really difficult due to the limited space and numbers of enemies.

It’s not terrible but it really doesn’t offer anything interesting.

  2. Play It Later

Well its obvious as soon as you start “combine escape” thats its a basic creation and is essentially a few corridors with some well placed buttons
however the creator could of made this so much better with just a few more hours work … add a few more rooms and some ingame music …… but even so its so easy to be critical when even a basic map such as this can still take a novice mapper a few days so thats why ive awarded combine escape a “play it later” rating
for obvious reasons i couldnt give it a play it now or personal favourite but since it gave me a enjoyable 14 minutes i think its worth the play it later award
    well done !

    Play It Later

To me this is the perfect play it later map. One little map with a nice combat in it that can hurt nobody. I enjoyed the layout of the map and that close combat with the AR2.

So yeah play it if you want to shoot some CMB ass in your 5 minute break.

  4. Play It Later

Pretty neat little map, was a bit confusing at times, there were a few “what did this button just do?” moments, but such a small map made up for it.

  5. Play It Later

A short but enjoyable map in my opinion. Nothing stellar, but definately not bad either. I did get stuck in a room and it took a while for me to find out I had to destroy a camera to get out of the room again. Combine forces offer a real challenge on difficulty Hard but it doesn’t get ridiculous; Alt-fire on your AR2 weapon can work miracles when clearing out the corridors and rooms. Visuals aren’t impressive but good enough for me. This level can come across as somewhat quiet between combat as there isn’t background noise, but that doesn’t bother me much.

    In a nutshell: descent, 7 out of 10 and a PIL … !

  6. Play It Later

It’s a really well made and tricky map, but it’s short too. There are groups of soldiers, but you can take them out with combine energy balls, becouse the AR is the only weapon in the map.
7/10 would scarejump to the soldiers again
