Combine Destiny 2 is the much awaited sequel to the zombie blasting Half-Life 2 mod; Combine Destiny. Leaving off from where the original ended, Combine Destiny 2 will bring the fight against the rebels to the next level, and the story to a new height!
The prior assault on Installation 34 failed. You find yourself in retreat, escaping in a dropship with the remaining members of the assault force. Behind you echoed the muffled, screaming voices of the parasitics, howling in victory.
You braved through hell for the Combine cause and survived, yet the system requires you to fight again. Your destination is the mighty citadel of City 17, the magnificent structure at the epicenter of the Combine invasion.
Your next mission is to regroup, rearm and assault the rebels’ defenses. You are sent with an assault team to re-establish control over Installation 34 and destroy the rebel threat.
Combine Destiny 2 will introduce brand new weaponry, including useable Manhacks and Combine ranged weapons. In addition, new vehicles and utilities such as a driveable APC and night vision will also make an appearance.

Certainly looking MUCH better than the first CD. Let’s hope the gameplay has been improved too.
The level design has definitly improved over the first one. It’s nice to see the progress they have made in that area.
I had to admit that after the first one I was a bit sceptical about the next, but I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.
Looks great! Can’t wait.
I’ll definitely be watching this mod’s progress. The new hud in particular looks excellent.
I must admit, it looks fairly better than the first part.
It’s me or all rebels just stay quiet shooting, with not even moving to cover or a litlle strafe? I hope I’m wrong, and they’re decently intelligent (I’m telling this for Half Life 2, not for this mod).
Well I don’t know. I am a team member and I recently found a scens.image file in the wrong folder. Im not a faceposer but I believe thats important for the speeches and scenes.
So the file being in the wrong folder could be the reason for the rebels not saying stuff XD
i really enjoyed Combine Destiny 1 & looking forward to playing the next one.
I’ve just added the latest released screenshots, and they look very good. Don’t forget to visit the homepage for the latest info : Combine Destiny.
Curiously, I found this on the list for FarCry maps. Anyway, it looks good so far.
Fixed. I must have checked the FarCry box when editing it.
Is this mod dead or is itstill being worked upon? It wouldbe interesting to play it…
wow!! Suuuuuuperrr!! Yes!
Darned good news this. So it’s still alive and well.
Media looks very good
Oh I hope that this does eventually come out, I really enjoyed the first one.
The first one was really, really good!! I can only imagine what CD2 will be like.. ( judging from the pics ) can’t hardly wait! any idea when it will arrive? anyone?
Oh HELL yes.
I remember the first Combine Destiny. It was one of the first mods I ever played. I liked it, but as time wore on I began to see the flaws in it. I really wanted a sequel — a better sequel.
…And out of nowhere (I haven’t really been watching the internets for it), here we are.
::EXCITED::
Knew nothing about CD1.
Download, since FF download link is, well… http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_2_Combine_Destiny_Mod;51699
DUDE THIS GAME ROCKS I WANT IT BADLY
I hated the first Combine Destiny Game. Infact, it was so non-linear, I didn’t know where I was going!! I hope this secound one will be “less linear” LoL!! xD
