Hello my little headcrabs. This weekend, I will be continuing my Level Design Academy practise. In case you don’t know, the LDA is an on-going project where Don teaches me how to map for Goldsource.

The streams will consist of my practising creating basic corridors with a view to developing my skills. I will also be starting Half-Life and observing the design and construction of its corridors.

Both streams, Saturday and Sunday, will start at 2pm Central European Summer Time (12pm GMT, 1pm BST, 8am Eastern US) on Saturday the 15th.

On Sunday, I will continue the same process.

Each stream will last between 90 to 120 minutes.

Hi Everybody,

This weekend, I will be live-stream for hopefully 12 hours starting at 12pm Central European Time on the RTSL YouTube channel.

I will only be playing maps and mods for Half-Life games, so no Unreal or Red Faction etc like last time.

In addition, I do not have time to set up all the mods before, so some of the stream will be me getting everything installed and working, which may be educational in itself.

Currently, I plan to play Point of View, Human Error, Break Through for Ep2; an unreleased map and Half-Life 2: Odyssey; a collection of new maps. In addition, I hope to play another as yet unreleased mod but I am waiting to receive permission (No, it’s not Downfall!).

Depending on time, I will also stream any other map or mod that is suggested on the stream or I fancy playing.

Once finished, I will be editing the stream into individual videos for the RTSL channel.

There’s also a chance that on Saturday 28th I will be doing another 12-hour stream.

Happy Birthday, HL! Half-Life was released a mere 18 years ago, on November 19, 1998. And we’re celebrating with a special stream weekend!

First, Phillip’s massive Autumn 12-hour Playathon is tomorrow! He’ll be streaming starting at 12pm Central European Time (11am GMT, 6am Eastern US) and running to midnight his time, 11pm GMT and 6pm Eastern US. Phillip hasn’t shared exactly what he’ll be streaming, but there might be some surprises in there!

Immediately following Phillip’s Playathon, I will be playing the original Half-Life. So I expect this stream to start at 12 midnight Central European Time, 11pm GMT, 6pm Eastern US – give or take. It won’t be a speedrun, nor will I be especially taking my time. Come watch!

Confession first: I’ve been procrastinating on my streaming lately. But I’m making it up to you with a double feature of sorts – both Classic of the Month and Source of Fame will be streamed this weekend.

Starting at 10am EDT on Saturday, which is 3pm UK time and 4pm CET time, I’ll be streaming Afraid of Monsters for Classic of the Month. I haven’t played AoM before, so I’m a little anxious given how creepy it looks. I’ve decided not to do the Director’s Cut version – and maybe save that for another Halloween.

Then, later Saturday afternoon, Dan AKA The Rabbit will be streaming Rock 24 for his Source of Fame event. His stream will be Saturday at 12pm Pacific time (3pm EDT), which is 8pm UK time and 9pm CET.

Well, I’ve already started watching horror movies this October. So for this month’s The Ville Retrospective event, I’ve decided to go all-in for the Halloween theme. This week it’s a horror-filled Double Feature!

Starting at 10am EDT on Saturday, which is 3pm UK time and 4pm CET time, I’ll be streaming HalloweenVille and HalloweenVille Two. I haven’t played them before, so I’m psyched – although I have to admit I can be a bit of a wuss when it comes to horror games. Watch me cower!
