Hello June, you Son Of A Headcrab!

It’s still not warm enough for me to wear my bikini around the house yet. I was expecting it to be hot enough to do that. I even got a bikini wax last week in expectation. Oh well, looks like the neighbourhood will have to wait a little longer to gaze upon my golden svelte super body.

Back to gaming, if you can, after I probably burned that image into your eyes for the rest of today.

As you can see, I haven’t really updated the site much. Partly because there doesn’t seem to have been anything released and partly because I have been working on other things. Got a few things I wish I could tell you about, but it’s better to wait until they are ready.

I’m thinking of starting a new YouTube channel playing really old FPS games. Thoughts?

Hello May. Where have you been hiding? Time to change my wardrobe for my Summer clothes – YAY!

So, what have you got planned for this month?

Over the last three months, RTSL has got a lot of new readers, mostly I suspect due to VNN, but maybe from other sources too. Anyway, unlike many other sites that also have a “proper” forum, RTSL does not. We did have but it was never used, so I removed it. People also complained about having to register twice – and I fully agree.

So now, each month I create a “General Chat” post for readers to post whatever they want within the limits of being a family-friendly website.

Please don’t post reviews, questions or comments about maps and mods listed on the site – post them on the respective post – all those comments will be deleted. I do this to ensure that when a reader visits a map or mod page, all the information is in one place.

My goodness, another year gone and a new one started.

How many New Years resolutions have you made and broken already? How many games did you buy in the Steam Winter Sale? Me, zero. But I was gifted a game, so thank you very much – you know who.

The weather here in Northern Spain has been fantastic this winter but I know some of you have had a terrible time and you have my sympathy.

So, let’s start the new year with some chat – off you go.

December is here and it’s time for Olentzero, he is like the local Father Christmas over here. The real legend is quite dark but has been cleaned up for kids.

Anyway, done your shopping yet? I’m going tomorrow. That said, I just bought a new webcam and my mother is supposed to be bringing it over with her when she visits, but it might arrive after she has left, so fingers crossed. If it does arrive, you’ll be able to see all my beauty spots in the livestreams. In fact, I might have to start wearing makeup!

But seriously, are you hoping to get a lot of gaming in over the Christmas and New Year period? I am.

Can’t believe the weather here at the moment – 25 degrees. T-shirt weather. I would have worn my shorts but I haven’t shaved my legs in a month.

In June 2014, I started to use a poster from a classic Sci-Fi move as the background for the post image.

This month it is from Beast from Haunted Cave (1959). A group of gold thieves pull of a heist and flee into the snowy wilderness, only to be pursued by a horrible, spider-like monster.

A heist movie AND a huge spider, gotta love that.

Here we are, Summer is over, nights drawing in and weather supposed to be getting colder – perfect excuse for more gaming – at least for me.

If you are looking for a Flash game to try, here’s a game called Drench. You have to paint a grid so it is all the same colour, but you only have a set number of “paints”. I found it quite fun.

Summer pretty much over, people are going back to work and it’s time to start working more seriously on the site.

I have a couple of new page ideas that should be quite easy to implement and I think I will use the Calendar page to plan some work too. Anyway, let’s get back to gaming!
