Not a bad little map, although the van was a little strange. I only gave it a Maybe because it really is very short.
If you are looking for a couple of minutes of fun, this could be it, otherwise wait for something more substantial.
5 Words or Less Review
Too short to really impress
I very nearly gave this an “avoid it” because of the picture of the cat in what appears to be some anguish (note avatar!).
Puzzles? No. Story? No. Combat? Yes, but boring.
How can combat be boring? Play this and find out for yourself.
Some might get a very brief chuckle at the end.
That cat texture is stock content!
Valve hates cats.
So everyone having a go at pussy wussies. Even Phillip with his post ‘don’t we have anything original to say?’
I’m off to cry in some spilt milk now so Blaha.
really too short, too boxy no real enjoyment except the texture for a couple of second…to be continue is the last on text message…A little bit more effort is needed to increase my opinion
And I thought the cat was something the Black Mesa team put in for fun…
I like the fact that the setting is in a tropic/desert environment instead of the oh-so-boring Eastern European landscape of HL2. Nothing wrong with the real Eastern Europe, but you all know what I mean.
Well that was short!!!
From the start to getting in the van and seeing “to be continued” took around 30 seconds on the first try. Am I missing something.
On the second try I took out all available targets and got into the van in about the same time, I’m not a great fan of using cheats but I suspect using Impulse 101 could half that time and god mode even less.
OK. So how do you review a mod that takes longer to download and install than it takes to play it. Well for one thing the van was hilarious, if the author had the sense of humour to make it an ice-cream van I would have said “Play it later’.
I just got started, and finished! Not much to add to the previous posters.
Was this worth releasing? For sure it was not worth playing, who ever the author is he should have waited until he had something worth the trouble of downloading. Dont bother it’s not worth the effort.
Haha, your recommendation image says the opposite.
Not sure I understand your point, there is not an image for ‘dont Bother to Download’.
That’s exactly what the AVOID IT! recommendation should be used for.
I think people are splitting hairs, although I talked it down lower, I am suggesting readers also get other opinions and not just rely on mine.
I don’t think this is a case of splitting hairs and it’s also an important point generally. You specifically said “ Dont bother it’s not worth the effort.” And that sounds very much like Avoid It! to me. please don’t think I am picking on you because I am not. I even added a new section in The Recommendation System page to clarify.
Sorry, I just do not agree with you, I only use AVOID IT when I feel the game is unplayable, which is not the case with this map.

For most people this will be too short to bother.
This is to be continued? But you killed me at the end. Or was the van just disabled?
