I really enjoyed the start of this map because the author create a situation that felt real, although an obvious way for the player to have entered the area would have been even better.
Regular readers will know that I dislike squad situations but in this case the squad didn’t really hinder me, so I don’t mind.
The gameplay is fine and the prison design pretty good. It’s a little frustrating not being able to reach all the areas you can see but I presume the author ran out of time when making the map.
Definitely worth 10 minutes or so you will spend playing it, but there’s no rush to stop what you are doing to play it.
5 Words Or Less Review
Perfect as a portfolio piece
Download works great loved going straight into the save window. Rate was 170k/sec to 150k/sec.
Please note, I tried leaving the above comment on feedback but could not get the system to accept any combination of two words, this was after several different attempts. I need an idiots guide.
That was too short. Nothing new, nothing exiting, nothing different, except first puzzle. Actually there is only one puzzle! So, that was too brief to have any idea. If you still want to see it, you can. It is not so bad.
Phillip has it right so no need to repeat. See comment 1.

Downloaded the files but WinZip had some problems as follows:
xtracting Wright_Final.bsp Error: CRC mismatch in file “Wright_Final.bsp” in the archive “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\datguykirt\half-life 2 episode two\ep2\maps\maps\hl2-ep2-sp-betrayal.rar”
Then, though I could see the Wright_Final.BSP file in my MAPS directory, HL2-EP2 froze when I tried to load it. Is there possibly an issue with 64 bit machines running Vista?
Good map. Extremely short, though, which is why it gets a Maybe!
The layout and story were well done. The only difference I’d make from Phillip’s comment is it only took me about 5 minutes to play.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, and considered giving it a PIL. The only problem is that it lasted me three minutes.
I love how realistic the situation is, and it’s clear a lot of effort was put into it. The atmosphere is pretty good too, I love that each room looks different than the last. If this was extended to be 20 (or even 10) minutes long I’m sure I would give it a PF.
If you don’t mind short maps, play it now. It’s really, really good.

Insanely short but it has some fun playability, just involving backtracking that’s all.
