Just a quick post to let mappers and modders know that Interlopers.net is hosting a mapping competition.

They have some great prizes and the theme looks interesting.

It’s a small PITA as it overlaps when I planned my next mapping competition, but I might wait until this is finished or I may run mine when I planned.

The Combine are coming to destroy your generator.

Defend it at ALL costs. If it gets destroyed then the Resistance will suffer a huge setback.

Since you know they are coming, organize your supplies and defences carefully.

A classic “escape from Black Mesa” mod.

Taking you through a variety of different areas, you encounter stiff opposition to your progress.

Freedom awaits for those smart and brave enough to continue forward.

Eight maps, all set in Raveholm, with one simple objective: Escape.

Look out for traps, hiding places, and anything else that can save your neck.

Each map offers something different and fresh, so make sure you take your time and enjoy the screams!

Starting in a sewer, you must travel through 4 distinct environments.

Your ultimate goal is your bed – yes, that’s right, your bed.

There’s nothing better than sleeping in a comfortable bed after fighting your way through to it.

For this competition, you must create a map that is inspired by Ravenholm.

There are no limits to the size of the maps or playtime.

You can have a starting premise or basic story but that is not required.

The Combine have taken control of a important rebel supply route.

It’s fallen on you to clear out the Combine, so that the resistance can restock it and resume operations.

It’s a big area and they have got themselves pretty well set in.

Take your time and make sure you clear the whole area and make sure you stop that DAMN weapon ASAP!
