Poll Question 189 – If you could play for as long as you wanted, how long would you play for?

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

I’ve discussed this before but as I get older the length of my gaming sessions (which are not very long anyway due to running the site and projects!) get shorter and shorter.

I have a fair amount of free time but can’t play for long because my mind wanders onto all the tasks and work still needed. That said, even if I didn’t have other things requiring my attention I doubt I would play for me than a couple of hours, it’s just too much for me.

What about you?

Steam Hardware and Software Survey

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

So, for whatever reason, Steam asked me if I wanted to participate in their survey. Being a kind and helpful person by nature I clicked YES.

Answered the few questions it asked about connection speed and microphone and then clicked next. Off it went to collect my system’s specs and all was fine until I decided to scroll down through the list to see what I had.

Maze Of Death

for Half-Life 2

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

A seemingly simple map, that has brick walls, set in a maze design. Includes, Combine soldiers, zombies, fast zombies and a rather unhelpful Alyx.

This was originally released in December 2004 and I have updated the post to include new screenshots and working download servers.

It will revert back to its original publish date of December 2005, in one month.
