    its basicly one giant bug

  2. I agree with you, bumtown. Next level doesn’t work, the author has messed with info_landmark.

I honestly thought this was my old mod, that I never finished. It too was called Half-Life: Final Run. Mine picked up right before the trash compactor in the original Half-life. Instead of being thrown into the compactor you were taken to a small jail facility on Black Mesa.

I gave this map 3 which is a bit on the kind side, it has some level change issues and you may need to load level 2 from the console.

Running the first few meters will already tell what to await in this little mappack.
It’s undetailed, poor, boxy mapping with at least good lighting.
But that’s not the worst! Final Run’s low point is the game design overall, oddities everywhere, poor mapping, no story or puzzles. It all just feels like from a random generator.
There is no atmosphere or anything special at all.
You run around, grab the longjump module, kill some grunts and aliens, and that’s it!
There’s no interaction with anything, nothing to see. Nothing to do, nothing do understand.
Just as mel, I also had to load map 2 manually..
Sorry, this just a terribly bad.

    Pro’s:
-Some combat (at the end lot of weapons and ammo)
    -Final “fight”

    Con’s:
    -Pointless design & gameplay
    -Very short playtime (~3-10 minutes)
    -Poor, boxy and undetailed mapping
    -Stupid AI
    -Balancing
-Minor bugs (mapchange, game crash, script)
    -No atmosphere

3 maps. broken level transition from 1 to 2, as everyone said, very basic mapping and not much to play.

  8. Think Twice

The transition between map 1 to map 2 is not working and transition from map 2 to map 3 is working. How do I get that? So all HEV suit is lost just like that. maybe he did that on purpose thinking that if we don’t know how to change weapons we won’t make it.
