“Firestorm is a single player mini-level set in the Half Life 2 universe taking place shortly after the end of the original campaign.
As night descends on Ravenholm, Gordon Freeman finds himself caught between bloodthirsty zombies and a fire that threatens to engulf the entire city. He must fight his way free, in a desperate battle against time.
The goal of this project was to create a level that focuses on action-packed gameplay, using a combination of enemy placement and environmental scripting to push the player forward. The walls shake, lights swing from the ceiling, zombies crash through the windows, and sections of the burning building collapse to reveal a multitude of zombies below.
While the player is relatively safe throughout the level the dynamic environment creates an illusion of imminent danger, raising tension and creating a deeper sense of immersion.”

This short level stuttered on my old system and that spoilt it for me, it could be to do with the optimization or my PC, I suspect the former.
It’s a two level buolding with lost of explosions and collapsing walls, quite fun but not very long.
Another short and meaningless piece. This one is shortest I think. There are two or three rooms, when you get out this ends too. Lasts one or two minutes at most. Like Phillip mentioned, it shuttered so bad because of bad design and lots of crap (!). Don’t bother.
Pointless and NOT FUN. I hate protection mods any way – give them a gun and have them look after themselves.
This is a frantic run and shoot mod – no gameplay or tactics required. To add insult to injury, when you do get outside, the map closes and you don’t get the joy of killing the zombies in the yard.
Deleted.
I thought this map was okay. Nothing new or innovative.
It lagged a little for me, but not too bad.
You can kill the zombies outside, there’s a door on the top floor. There’s even a ladder from the balcony to the ground, but it doesn’t work. I did this before “finding” the doctor–I don’t know if finding him starts a timer, or if there’s no timer at all.
Woah there, this one’s got some serious mapping issues. The very first thing I did was turn around and open a door that leads outside of the map. There’s also a completely broken window much bigger than the player with an invisible wall in it. When I went out on to the catwalks outside the building, there was a ladder leading to the ground but the hole was too small for me to fit through so I had to noclip. After killing a dozen zombies I found another place that leads outside the map, this one in plain sight. I then opened a door to go back into the building and the map said I escaped then it ended. This map is pointless and confusing, I definitely recommend you avoid it.
