Author’s Note
The strategically positioned grunts will make you fight for your life, but there is some puzzle-solving involved. So if it’s not your style of gameplay, don’t accept the mission.
The scenario is that you are trapped inside a museum in Paris after all the artworks have been stolen. The armed guards are convinced that you are among the thieves. The security system of the museum has been activated.
Your mission is to deactivate the security system and find an exit. For a new player with a quick wit, this mission should take about fifteen minutes to finish.

Well worth the download if you like your HL1 maps short and to the point. This one will keep you occupied with some tough placement of Grunts. The set design is interesting if nothing outstanding, but a least it’s new and different if a bit sparse and lacking content. There is a complete game here, although as already stated on the short side, but it does have a structured flow with an ending that is reach after sorting out a puzzle sequence. This one is well worth considering for a few minutes of fun and action, I enjoyed it.
Short and hard. Little ammo at first, but enough to keep you going. One puzzle was not that obvious and made me pres “Use” all over the place. The idea of a museum was good, realistic and could have been expanded into a small mod. But this was ok, for such a small map, there were a few minutes full of combat, plus a small puzzle and a hidden place.
Agree with mel and Ad3.
Single map taking place in a Paris museum, your mission is to survive the soldiers who think you were amongst the thiefs, and deactivate the security system for a successful escape.
Pro’s:
-Tactical combat
-Hard difficulty
-Few puzzles
-Story is ok, but nothing special
Con’s:
-Not very artful design, altho it’s in an museum
-Very short
-Not much variation regarding weapons, enemy types, level layout etc.
-A dead end
-Less health leading to bad balancing
-Tough start
