Another Test Tube (short challenge) from Map Labs here. This one simply asked mappers to make a small map that would fit within one billion units. For non-mappers, one unit is roughly an inch, so this works out to a cube about 20-25 meters on a side. But the challenge was only for total volume, so making an incredibly vertical map with a smaller footprint was also fine. Similar to our 1 Billion Units EMC – but we certainly don’t claim to have invented the concept!
There were 13 entries, here they are!

All of the maps are good, my favorite creative one was Mousetrap while the one i found the most enjoyment gameplay wise was The engine of a film.

Ok, pros about this one, short entries, not very challenging but entertaining enough…
Overall I felt the whole maps were very cramped and narrow so yeah I disliked the whole environment of most of them.
The only map that had great visuals though combat was hectic was Beach Hunt, the bonus entry.
I think Mousetrap deserved to win this one, as also it was a cool concept implemented nicely.
Yeah overall, this one is a big maybe recommendation to me.
