Ever wanted a relaxing Half-Life map just to chill in? Here are 2 meditative-type maps (sunset and night settings) allowing just that. There’s a bit to explore and you can sit on the chair or couch if you like.

There’s even an Xash3D-specific map included if you’re into that.

Manual Installation Instructions

  • Copy the maps folder into your …\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\valve\ folder. (The valve_addon folder may be used instead).
  • Launch Half-Life
  • Open the console and type map hl_comfy_sunset or map hl_comfy_night and press ENTER.

    We should have more contemplative mods in the likes of this one or fallingLiquid, an HL2 mod from Kasperg.

    I guess the perfect word to define these 2 maps is “cozy”.

    There’s really nothing much to do in the maps but lay on the couch and enjoy that relaxing xenian view, or maybe grab the crowbar on the shelf and destroy some props away.

    Overall this is a nice project, more visual than anything else.

    Give it a try if you like.
