I am pleased to announce a new feature on the site.
It is called Collections and are user-created lists of releases.
I have created a video explaining how they work, which you can see below.
Collections can be viewed via the EXPLORE menu item and full details can be found on the ABOUT Page.
In summary, only registered and logged in users can create Collections but every visitor can see them.
As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
My thanks go to Jan for coding the feature and Koneko for testing it.
Glad to see the feature was finally made public. Was I really the only one that tested it? Anyway, don’t hesitate to contact me if there are features to test! I’m always up for it.
This looks interesting. It’s been half a year (or maybe more) since I’ve started posting on this site, and I’m definitely not happy about it. I really wish I could see the site more often, but things have been getting very tight lately.
Anyway, the feature is great and it’s nice to see the site constantly improving. Great job to everyone and especially Phillip for keeping the site alive!
Lovely neat new feature:
Suggestion to save the users both time and trouble maybe make it so that collections list to all official released items in the various game categories. The users could then just set a hook to what they wanna have or if unsure still go to that page directly if they unsure whether that was mod xzy with following ZZZ or not.
But scripting such an algorithm might not be easy not to mention it would require that all the official site updates really do sit on the same general place for their specific categories.
Other than that I find the limitation of 10 items limiting. But I seems that you already enhanced that limitation? Seeing how some of my collections own 11 links by now??
As said before nice work. Lets hope we will get to see plenty good collections.
That being said there are at least 5 “Play it now mods” I can think of about right now that are currently not listed here. 3,4 of those were never listed here ever. Contact me in Steam if you require additional details about that.
Sorry, but I don’t understand what you are suggesting. What “official release items”?
Can you email me the links to the mods you think I should add, please?
Gladly Phillip..
Although I won’t mail em to you.. Check in steam — on your PP account.
