Nosocomephobia is a fear of hospitals.
You have been dared by your friends to explore an abandoned hospital alone.
Rumor has it the hospital was built on top of an asylum built and you are going to find out for sure.
Something’s definitely not right with this place…

I’m not a fan of scary or horror maps/mods/games but I quite enjoyed this one.
To be perfectly honest, I got a little bored at the end as I felt it was slightly repetitive. I suppose that players who enjoy these settings will enjoy this more than I did.
The jump scares were well done but it’s the whole setting that feels right.
All in all, I fairly fun map but I prefer standard action and puzzle releases.

This is a good little horror map which takes the player in that abandoned hospital.
Jumpscares were well made, however, they were pretty simple for some of them.
The end of the map was a bit disappointed, you just find the key, go upstairs, open the door, break more wood planks, and there, 2 people wait for you, screen fade in black and… nothing. The end…
It would have been a better map if the player was actually in one of those padded cells we see during the game. Or the player dies by this ghostly figure we see during the game when he tries to break the wood planks…
Yet, this map is still a good map to play if you have some time to spend!

This map is ok in places but it gets quite repetitive. A lot of the rooms look the same and you end up searching for multiple keys which gets quite tedious.

I’m also not too eager for maps like this but I can appreciate the atmosphere and there are some scary moments that make me jump. Well, a little…? Overall, it gets boring after a while and quite repetitive. I dunno but there’s only so much ambient walking in near-dark that’s gonna appeal to me.
Worth a play to some, but not my cuppa tea.
Pretty basic map, and as already said, repetitive. Can’t really recommend playing it.

The mod itself is easy, not much in the way of combat and the puzzles weren’t difficult at all but it did spook me a couple of times, albeit with jumpscares. It does a good job of setting the mood as well, and it wasn’t too long either, so you wont lose much out playing it.

All in all a good map with some scary moment and good mood
even if it ends up abruptly and that room visit is the only thing to do and become really boring, the reward of getting out the maze and having somebody waiting for you was an enjoyable moment with good layout
finally a good starting we map 🙂

I personally don’t care that much about horror games. But when they are well made, I can appreciate them. This is one of the horror maps that is actually good. Some of the jumpscares where a bit too cheap, but overall they were well made. The atmosphere and setting are also really good. These two combined make for a good horror experience.
For the mapping itself, it was pretty decent as well. Some areas look a bit empty, but I believe you shouldn’t detail a horror map too much so the player can focus on the actual horror elements better.
Only thing I’d really complain about here is the fact that the creator put 2D tree cards too close to the player’s reach at the end. These cards are supposed to be put at a good distance from the player.
Overall, if you don’t dislike horror maps, go play this.

It’s slightly scary, jumpscares are quite cheap but not as cheap as jpg jumpscares from Garry’s Mod. The map is quite linear and it gets boring tbh. I wouldn’t mind lengthy maps but a boring linear one wouldn’t be that fun so I put it to “play it later.”
I am a sucker for horror maps with cheap jumpscares. Something about it is so nostalgic. Reminds me of all the maps I played when I first bought gmod (one year before I bought hl2). Here is my score.
Cheap Jumpscares: Yep
Zombies: Yep
Dark as hell: Definitely.
Scary: Got me a few times.
Play it now. The lighting could be better, but it’s quite detailed and entertaining as I await the next jumpscare.
