This coming weekend sees the start of a new event: CLASSIC of the MONTH.
During the third weekend in each month, one classic mod will be played, discussed, updated and reviewed.
A livestream is planned, although NOT guaranteed, for each mod on the Saturday, with the post updated on Sunday.
Every four months (3 for the first one) a podcast will be recorded discussing the 4 classics that have been posted.
Phillip and Unq will be fixed participants on the podcast, depending on their schedules, with other guests filling the other two places.
The mods will mostly be Hall of Fame entries but there will also be plenty of lesser-known releases.
Six regular reviewers will have their reviews highlighted in the Review Table, with all others linked to in a separate column.
This is a VERY long-term project and should be seen more as a continuous feature rather than a limited-time event.
To be one of the “six” highlighted reviewers please email Phillip at [email protected] You must be prepared to write a review for a significant number of the posts. It’s only 12 per year, but please don’t apply unless you are committed.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please post them here.
How will this affect existing reviews and recommendations for the mods? Will they be replaced? Or added to?
No changes to existing reviews or recommendations will be made. It’s just like the 100 Summer Days of Nostalgia in that regard.
well, let’s play, it’s 0 degress out.
